On Sunday at 3:15 the MN Vikings will play the Green Bay Packers, on their turf. The game has been uber hyped ever since the Vikings trompled the Packers at the Metrodome in week 4.

This time around the Vikings are playing in Lambeau Field in front of a crowd that will not be nearly as nice considering that Favre just a few seasons ago would have been sitting on the opposite bench wearing the opposite colors. Favre has said he is looking forward to returning to his former football home to play in his Vikings Jersey, somehow it seems like sweet justice considering the way the Favre-Packers relationship ended. There are still Vikings Packers Tickets left and if critics are right this is THE game to be at this season!

Below is a CBS Football Preview of this weekends game and some great insights as to what to expect when Brett Favre returns "home" with his new Vikings brothers. All I can say is SKOL VIKINGS!Fun With Hot Pics and Pictureshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06808584977041240548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7490354520028084591.post-39921146003713923592009-11-01T01:55:41.878-07:002009-11-01T01:55:41.878-07:00It is hard to say if FOX will be so focused on the...It is hard to say if FOX will be so focused on the Brett Favre storyline on Sunday that they forget to mention anyone or anything else throughout the entire three hours.
However, the Favre return and the normal Green Bay rivalry both take a backseat in the grand scheme of things. Under normal circumstances, the big story line would be about the standings in the NFC North.
Going into Sunday the Vikings are 6-1 and the Packers are 4-2.
This means that if the Vikings win they not only take a 2.5 game lead, but they have then gone two of two against the Pack and would own the tiebreaker, meaning they essentially would have a 3.5 game lead heading into the second half of the season.
However, if the Pack were to somehow sneak out of this one with a “W” then that would make the race for the North a lot tighter. Not only would the Vikings not have the tie-breaker, but it would bring the Pack within a half game. Given that they get to play the lowly Bucs the following week, it would then be likely that the Packers and Vikings would be tied for the lead after the Vikings come off their bye week.
The stakes couldn’t be higher.Find Fargo Real Estate or FM Realtorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11414941094297964231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7490354520028084591.post-45109147670469311222009-07-25T21:47:39.486-07:002009-07-25T21:47:39.486-07:00So will you be updating your blog as the Vikings h...So will you be updating your blog as the Vikings head into the 2009 Viking Schedule it will be interesting to hear your opinions on the season.beer234https://www.blogger.com/profile/09053457185921485044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7490354520028084591.post-72500420281424929162009-03-20T01:32:00.000-07:002009-03-20T01:32:00.000-07:00I got a nice Peterson jersey from sport-jerseys.bi...I got a nice Peterson jersey from sport-jerseys.biz.Vickyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01711665332751178986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7490354520028084591.post-1532172640138645372008-10-01T17:04:00.000-07:002008-10-01T17:04:00.000-07:00Looks Like a Long painful season on the horizon.Looks Like a Long painful season on the horizon.Find Fargo Real Estate or FM Realtorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11414941094297964231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7490354520028084591.post-38980770862925095452007-12-27T07:06:00.000-08:002007-12-27T07:06:00.000-08:00He didn't write anything about it in the daily for...He didn't write anything about it in the daily forum I might have to check his blog out. But I would argue that the defense also did not live up to the expectations we have come to expect over the past 5 weeks. The corners did not seem to play very tight coverage and redskins receivers were wide open. We also gave up several longer runs on the evening.

I really feel we lost this game on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Conspiracy???? Well the NFL, I am sure, was glad to see the Vikings lose. This gives reason for fans of two more teams (NO and Wash) to watch games this weekend. More drama, more viewers. IF the Vikings had won, there would be very little reason to watch any games this weekend. Maybe a deal was struck behind closed doors and in return for "taking a dive" the team will be rewarded with a guaranteed victory in Denver and a guaranteed Dallas win. Just a thought...

I'm second thought, I think we are along ways from being treated like the GB Packers football franchise.

Thanks for the blog CB.GON2DLKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05545388989281587026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7490354520028084591.post-23386465718800492072007-12-20T06:14:00.000-08:002007-12-20T06:14:00.000-08:00You are very correct there Snydes and that is why ...You are very correct there Snydes and that is why I think that we have an advantage. He actually showed me something in some very clutch situations. I don't think he looks nearly confused as he did earlier in the year.We are going to half to expect him to make mistakes at this stage in his career. I work with a guy who is a big Packer fan and from what he saw TJack do he said he reminds him of Favre in his earlier days when he would try to make too much happen. Also, Winfield's injury isn't nearly as bad as originally thought either it is only a strained pectoral muscle something that I believe will not keep him out of more than one game. By the way who are you, you have got to be someone we know since you know my brother-in-law has terrible gas. Our guess is that you are either Muller or Weber one of the two. The Defence Shucks K & P Williams looked good ,the secondary, well they did intercept for the win nice way to end the game. Offense,I was thinking more Chester less Adrian his inexperience showed and he seems to have misplaced his swivel and I was happy to see Bolinger come in its just to bad Childress let an injury make his descision for him. They were lucky that the Bears offense was off, because their defense was kicking !@#!%. The kicker "Longneck" needs to take a little practice while the rest of the team is practicing tackles after all this ain't Flag Football it was called tackle football on my street. 5 in a ROW uffda!!Daddy Larshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05350421075812190489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7490354520028084591.post-89131881712523264382007-12-17T15:55:00.000-08:002007-12-17T15:55:00.000-08:00Well Green is gone but that feeling that all of us...Well Green is gone but that feeling that all of us vikings fans will always remain.
